1. Be Predictable
Although we have always heard that the secret to keep a romance alive is to change things, we need to be predictable to make the relationship work. Of course a suprise, a gift, is welcome, but consistency of things is very important.

2. Make your words match the message
Your body should say the same that your words says. If you say you are happy but your body shows the opposite, your partner will see the latter, and won’t trust on you.

3. Don’t Keep Secrets
Secrets are the main destroyers of trust on a relationship. You should be honest all the time with your partner, trying to focus the energy you put on having and mantaining a secret into the relationship.

4. Let your partner know your needs
You should let your partner know which are your needs, instead of making your partner guess them.

5. Learn to say no
Never saying no is a great way to loose respect. According to the previous point, your partner should let you know which are his or her needs, but you should not say yes to everything he or she needs. Saying no when it corresponds helps to build trust in the relationship.
